Katahdin/Dorper/Florida Native Hair Sheep

Right now we have a small flock sheep that consist mainly of a mix of Katahdin, Dorper, and Florida Native.  I purchased these sheep from Hopping Brothers Livestock near Wagoner, OK.  The Florida Native sheep were brought to the Florida region by Spanish Explorers because of their hardiness and ability to fend for themselves.  For this same reason, the Hopping Brothers introduced this breed to their herd.  These sheep lamb on their own out in the pasture, do not need sheering, and rarely require treatment for parasites.  They are incredible foragers and require little to no supplemental feed on a good diverse pasture.  Even in the winter.  Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing breeding stock or a lamb for meat.
