We just got into miniature jerseys in the fall 2016, mostly by accident.  I was looking for a smaller breed milk cow for my kids to milk.  I was needing something easy to handle and required less forage than the average milk cow, while still having good milking anatomy.  That is when I ran across these wonderful creatures.  However, I found that they are in very high demand and was put on several 1 to 2 year waiting lists.  I stayed relentless in my pursuit and was very fortunate to find 3 great cows from Dexter Corner Farm in Illinois.  One of these cows had an adorable heifer calf this spring.  So we are still herd building but will likely be selling some precious miniature jersey in a year or two.
